On a European tour of around ten dates, Sophie Ellis-Bextor was in Paris on Tuesday for an evening at the Bataclan.
The concert, which was sold out, was an opportunity for the British singer to pay tribute to the victims of the attacks of November 13, 2015.
She dedicated her title
Murder on the dancefloor
to
the victims of the Bataclan attacks

Before performing it, the 44-year-old singer had reassuring words for the audience, reminding that it was not

a malicious song
”

“
The purpose of this song, like that of this room, is to bring joy, music and dance
,” she explained.
It is therefore a tribute to this spirit and to all those who once danced here at the Bataclan.

Earlier this year, the twenty-year-old title experienced a resurgence in popularity after being included in the soundtrack of the film
