"Propaganda was the art of the KGB, disinformation was the art of the USSR and evidently there is still someone in Russia who uses this art to try to put others in difficulty. Italy is on Ukraine's side but this does not it means that we are at war with the Russian people. The Italian people are friends of the Russian people but we do not want the Russian army to invade Ukraine."
Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this when responding to reporters regarding the words addressed by Vladimir Putin to the Italian street artist Jorit.
