"Propaganda was the art of the KGB, disinformation was the art of the USSR and evidently there is still someone in Russia who uses this art to try to relieve others in difficulty. Italy is on Ukraine's side but this does not mean that we are in war with the Russian people. The Italian people are friends of the Russian people but we do not want the Russian army to invade Ukraine".
Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this while responding to reporters regarding the words addressed by Vladimir Putin to the Italian street artist Jorit.
