Theft of works of art worth one million euros from the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, in the province of Brescia.
In fact, all 49 works from the temporary exhibition by artist Umberto Mastroianni, which has been on display since December 30th and was due to close tomorrow, have disappeared.
The managers of the Vittoriale discovered the sensational theft and, when they opened the doors in the morning, found all the exhibition spaces empty.
These are works in gold.
The Carabinieri with the cultural heritage protection unit are investigating.
