Blow out Easter eggs?

With a trick it's much easier

The radio station Bayern 1

explained a simple and quick alternative to blowing out Easter eggs

in an online article.

All you need is a few simple utensils.

First, you poke a hole in the top and bottom of the shell with a sharp knife.

You also need an empty, clean PET bottle, on the opening of which you place a rubber seal that has the same diameter as the bottle opening.

Now you squeeze the empty PET bottle in the middle with one hand, as the article from

Bayern 1

explains, and place the egg on the sealed bottle opening with the other hand.

If you let go of the bottle, the contents of the egg are pulled out of the shell by the resulting negative pressure.

At Easter you can decorate pretty and colorfully again.

Blow out eggs with a straw

The DIY Academy

explains another way to make blowing out Easter eggs at least easier

on its website.

It works like this using a straw: First, use a pushpin to carefully poke a hole into the top and bottom of the egg.

And you can then enlarge the pre-pierced holes with a kebab skewer, a knitting needle or a nail.

However, you should proceed carefully because otherwise the eggshell will crack.

Now you can hold the egg over a small bowl, place the straw over the top hole and blow into it with as much pressure as possible.

The egg white and yolk should now flow out relatively quickly at the bottom end.
