Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that after the municipal consultations on March 31 he will no longer participate in other elections.
"This is a final for me, this election will be my last with the authority granted by law, the result will be a transfer of trust to my brothers who come after me," the Turkish leader said, as reported by Anadolu.
After winning last year's elections, Erdogan was elected to a five-year presidential mandate until 2028.
