Green light from the European Commission for Italy's 1.1 billion euro state aid scheme to support investments in the production of tools necessary to facilitate the transition towards a zero-emission economy, in line with the Green Deal .
The measure, partly financed by the Pnrr, will be open to companies producing batteries, solar panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, electrolysers, carbon capture and storage tools, as well as critical components and raw materials needed to manufacture the equipment .
The aid will be provided in the form of direct grants.
