A wedding to celebrate their one year relationship
According to the
New York Times
, the Murdoch-Joukova couple started dating last summer, and are already planning to get married in June, in California where Rupert Murdoch has a property.
A marriage which would therefore occur less than a year after the official start of their union.
The 67-year-old former biologist is the former wife of Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, with whom she had a daughter, Daria Zhukova, philanthropist and art collector.
Rupert Murdoch has a longer list of former wives.
Father of six children, he was first married for eleven years to Patricia Booker, an Australian air hostess.
For more than thirty years, he was the husband of the British journalist Anna Torv, before marrying Wendi Deng, a Chinese businesswoman.
After his divorce, he married the model Jerry Hall, whom he left for Ann Lesley Smith, from whom he separated only a month after their engagement.
