In a dramatic rescue operation, six cows escaped certain death.
Today they show their love to people when they cuddle.

When six cattle escaped on the way to the slaughterhouse and ran for their lives through the streets of St. Louis for hours, there was a huge outcry in the city in the US state of Missouri.
The local media reported live from the spectacular chase.
Above all, Chico, who took people's hearts by storm with his enormous will to live.
Today things have calmed down a bit around the animals.
So that they are not forgotten, Ellie Laks, the founder of the animal protection organization The Gentle Barn, shared a touching video on TikTok a few days ago to remind people that cows are incredibly emotional and emotional animals that have close bonds with each other and with humans enter.
Harrowing escape, rescue and a new home
Ellie, who was instrumental in rescuing the animals along with her partner Jay Weiner, describes the action as follows: “The leader of them, Chico, broke through three fences and ran through the streets.”
Hours later they were captured and taken back to the slaughterhouse.
Some animal-loving people couldn't stand it and offered the company to take them in on their farm.
However, the slaughterhouse did not accept this - it wanted to see money for them and set almost three times the actual price.
The six cattle should live
Within a very short time, a fundraising campaign was launched to buy the animals.
However, after four days, the cattle were still sitting in the slaughterhouse and the slaughterhouse threatened to not want to wait any longer.
Ellie now had to act quickly.
And even though she lives in Los Angeles, she and Jay boarded a plane to St. Louis to prevent the slaughter.

With the donations they collected, they were able to buy the animals and initially place them in a foster home.
