A surprise measure by Intercargo company personnel could generate
delays in scheduled flights
at the Ezeiza airport, according to the airlines.
These are surprise assemblies of the workers of the state company that
provides ramp service
and assists the airlines at the time of landing and until the takeoff of the planes.
"Intercargo Personnel at the Ezeiza Airport began with
surprise one-hour meetings
. This measure, beyond the control of the Airlines, will unfortunately generate flight delays and discomfort for passengers," it was reported.
Days ago, Intercargo workers, along with Aerolíneas Argentinas workers, had participated in a strike that affected 35,000 passengers and forced the cancellation of nearly 400 flights throughout the country.
On that occasion, the unions APA (Aeronautical Personnel Association - ramp and runway), APLA (Airline Pilots Association) and UPSA (Union of Senior and Professional Personnel of Aerocommercial Companies) adopted this measure after rejecting the salary offer of the company within the framework of joint negotiation.
