This fifth week of blind auditions for the TF 1 singing competition was marked by very selective coaches, despite good results.

The teams of “The Voice” on TF 1 are gradually filling up.

And as we enter the fifth blind audition session of the year, the coaches are becoming more and more difficult.

Jacques, a 30-year-old Parisian airline pilot, paid the price.

Despite a nice cover but in almost incomprehensible English of “In the Stars” by Benson Boone, a song about mourning that he thought was about heaven, no coach turned around.

“The accent prevented me from accessing the thing,” Vianney apologized, hoping to hear it again one day in French.

Ugo Cicoletta, failed two years earlier, had better luck thanks to Bigflo and Oli, turning around at the last moment on his improbable interpretation of “These people” by Jacques Brel, half musical comedy, half rap.

“I thought,

What is he doing?

» asked Bigflo while Mika felt that the performance was “too much” for her taste.

Same thing for Clément Serra and his country version of the hit “YMCA” by the Village People.

If Zazie ended up turning around, believing that he had made it “the most moving and modern song in the world”, Vianney was disturbed by his hat.

Flora hits the mark with all the coaches

Among the surprising candidates, there was the Bordeaux group Quartier Chat, with a 2000s rock cover of France Gall's “Sucettes”, not convincing enough for the others.

Elidjah too, “insurance broker by day, singer by night”.

“Hannah Montana, that’s me,” she sums up, while the production chose the cover of “High Energy” by Afida Turner to illustrate her portrait.

Only similarity: a tendency to shout a little on “Toxic” by Britney Spears…

This fifth week was also marked by the return of Teeo, ex-"The Voice Kids" who, after a cover of Gjon's Tears, was saved at the last minute by Camille Lellouche.

It is now up to him to do everything to win his place and go directly to the final.

But the best performance of the week goes to Flora, only 16 years old – the minimum age to participate in the competition.

With a very pretty version of “Moulins de mon coeur”, she rotated all the armchairs.

“Let's be honest, there were little notes that weren't kept well, there were little falsities, there was a bit of emotion to manage which obviously didn't slow me down because there is a purity in what you did, something that comes from far away, from deep when you are only 16 years old,” complimented Vianney.

However, not enough to be retained, the young woman preferring to join Mika, after a new battle of coaches, determined not to give in this year!
