There are different opinions about what the perfect liver casserole looks like.
In a Rewe supermarket, one “almost collapsed in on itself”.
Munich – Leberkassemmel is one of the most popular snacks in Bavaria.
And also very popular in other federal states or in Austria.
But woe betide you if something is wrong with the culinary delicacy - as was recently the case with a Leberkas recipe.
A Rewe liver cash register also caused a lively discussion.
“Ordinary wedge” – Rewe customer presents his liver casserole for two euros
A user posted a photo on Reddit.
You can see it: A hand, apparently that of the user, which was holding a liver casserole in its hand.
“2 euros in the Rewe in Wetzlar,” he wrote in his post.
And thus revealed both the supermarket chain that sold the snack and the place in Hesse where it is located.
At first glance it was clear: the ratio of Leberkas to bread rolls was clearly in favor of the meat.
There was almost no sign of the roll, the slice of Leberka was so thick.
It didn't take long for the other users to react in the comments under the Reddit post.
“A thin slice of bread please,” wrote one ironically, adding a crying-with-laughter emoji.
“Nice wedge,” commented another user, who was obviously impressed by the thick piece of Leberkas.
“But what about the roll?” he asked himself.
“You can’t actually see it that well, but the thing basically collapsed in on itself,” replied the creator of the Reddit post.
The Rewe customer added: “From the beginning it was nothing half and nothing whole.”
Rewe customer shows chunks of Leberkas – “Next time without a roll, right?
One user then concluded: “Next time it will be without a roll, right?” However, the Rewe customer did not receive an answer for the time being.
However, there was also one user who didn't like the enormous Leberkas in the roll.
“I don’t even want it as a gift, thank you,” was his reaction.
