A joint patrol of the Lebanese army and the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (Unifil) was attacked west of the city of Aita al-Shab in southern Lebanon.
This was reported by Al Jazeera, citing the Lebanese news agency Nna, according to which shots were fired this morning from the Israeli settlement of Shtola, near the border.
Andrea Tenenti, spokesperson for Unifil, declared in a statement that "a Lebanese army vehicle was hit during patrolling. Fortunately no injuries were reported".
