Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac) with a time of 1'50"789 took pole in the MotoGP class in Qatar, the first round of the 2024 world championship. Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo) will also start on the front row.
For Martin it is the 14th pole in the major class.
Brad Binder's KTM, the other official Ducati of world champion Francesco Bagnaia and the Gresini Racing Ducati ridden by Marc Marquez will start in the second row.
He opens the third row, with the seventh fastest time, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46).
