On a trip to the Riviera with the Duchess of Dino, Talleyrand's muse

Highlights: Dino was born in 1793, the youngest of the four daughters of the last independent Duke of Courland. She was married in 1809 to Edmond de Périgord, who died in 1824. She had three children, all of whom died before she was able to have any more children of her own. She also had a daughter and a son, both of whom were also born in the 17th century. She died in 1918, aged 80, and was buried in the town of Dusseldorf, Germany.
