Today is the second day of the Leopolda in Florence.
"After the usual thematic tables - we read in a note from the Italia Viva press office -, Matteo Renzi and Father Benanti will be on stage to talk about artificial intelligence. Professor Marco Fortis will then be there with a speech on economics and work, a debate on information with the leader of Italia Viva, the director of La Stampa Andrea Malaguti and Augusto Minzolini, editorialist of Il Giornale. The morning will close with a speech by Matteo Renzi".
In the afternoon, "among others, a debate on work with Maurizio del Conte, former director of Anpal, Professor Bassetti with a speech on healthcare, Don Antonio Ravagnani, priest and blogger.
"At 10 this morning, Minister Nordio personally confirmed to me his participation in the Leopolda. It is obvious that the Minister was under political pressure to cancel. It is especially regrettable because this Leopolda - perhaps the most attended ever - would have welcomed him with pleasure. And refusing a civil confrontation is not Nordio's style. It's a shame," declared Italia Viva MP Maria Elena Boschi.
Sources in Via Arenula had previously specified that Minister Nordio would not participate either in person or remotely.
