The elderly cat Anni was surrendered to the animal shelter due to illness.

She loves to lead loud debates.

Why that is the case and what passion she still maintains.

The European Shorthair cat Anni was brought to the Munich animal shelter by her owner when he became very ill and could no longer care for his beloved cat.

Since then, Anni has been waiting for a new home with experienced cat owners.

“Anni was very stubborn and aggressive at times because she couldn't understand what was happening and was very traumatized,” writes the animal shelter as justification for the special requirements for Anni's interested parties.

Experience in dealing with demanding kitties, a lot of time and a lot of patience are therefore the ideal requirements for Anni's future owners.

You can read here why a chubby cat grandma should exercise every day.

Cat grandma Anni likes to have loud conversations

Another trait that Anni's future owners should be able to deal with is her penchant for loud conversations.

Because the cat grandma, who is estimated to have been born in 2010 and would therefore already have 14 proud years as a cat, is at least hard of hearing, if not even deaf, as the animal shelter suspects.

Her secret cat passion is also to sunbathe in peace on the balcony - but of course only with a cat protection net.

Because they cannot hear themselves, deaf cats meow louder than their hearing counterparts.

In order to reduce the dangers for them, outdoor access for such cats should be carefully considered.

If in doubt, a secured outdoor enclosure is the better option.

Senior cat Anni needs time to thaw out

The spry senior cat will need time to gain trust in her new caregivers.

Anyone who gives her the necessary time to get used to her will be rewarded with a very friendly, cuddly and affectionate cat, the animal shelter reveals on its homepage.

So that Anni can fully develop and is not harassed, a quiet and childless home would be the home of choice for the brown velvet paw.

Attention is an important factor, especially for deaf cats.

They live more isolated lives than their hearing counterparts and therefore particularly enjoy it when daily play and petting sessions are included.

If these sequences take place at around the same time every day, the velvet paw finds its routine easier.

You are also doing aging cats a big favor by wearing them in a baby sling.

However, your limitations should be accepted.

However, Anni can be wonderfully occupied and entertained with fun foraging games.
