Visualizations: a revolution in Ariel Sharon Park in the Gush Dan area/Ariel Sharon Park
The Ariel Sharon Metropolitan Park, which covers an area of approximately 8,000 dunams in the heart of Gush Dan and is known as one of the largest projects in the world in the field of environmental restoration, plans in the coming years to promote a number of huge engineering projects that will change the face of the park and the face of Gush Dan in general.
Among the main projects is the creation of a large artificial lake that will be used as a resort, water sports and recreation, with restaurants and shops along the promenade.
Also planned is the construction of a huge dynamic dam that will restrain the Ayalon stream, will allow control of the amount of runoff entering the park and will help prevent flooding.

Another major project is the establishment of the "Ariel Sharon Heritage House" which will include a visitor center, an auditorium and more over an area of 3 dunams.
In addition, the construction of two amphitheaters is planned - one open with 35,000 seats and the other partially covered in Roman style with 5,000 seats.
As part of a concept of sustainability and environmental friendliness, the park intends to install photovoltaic systems to produce electricity from solar energy, which will produce about 12 megawatts, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles.

According to the CEO of Ariel Sharon Park, Dan Lichtman, "these are projects that will make the park more advanced and friendlier to visitors, and will march it into the future as a modern and advanced metropolitan park."
