Chaffles are a real low-carb favorite that will satisfy any craving.
The world's best cheese waffle is made from just two ingredients.
If you only bake “normal” waffles in your waffle iron, you are missing out on some delicious delicacies that almost outclass the classics.
The hot iron shows all its capabilities in the kitchen and can also be filled with hearty dishes - with a dough made from just two ingredients.
Chaffles are the ideal low-carb snack and a quick, hearty breakfast or dinner.

The chaffles were also named in the tradition of croffles, which combine the sweet favorites “croissants” and “waffles”.
“Cheese” meets “Waffles” and chaffles are born.
Cheese and egg end up in the dough, it really couldn't be easier.
A wonderfully crispy and cheesy food trend comes out of the waffle iron and is ready in just a few minutes.
The chaffle is happy with any topping, whether fresh fruit or, as here, tender salmon and avocado.

Since the chaffles do not contain flour and consist only of cheese and egg, they are suitable for a ketogenic diet.
Carbohydrates are largely avoided and instead foods with a lot of fat and protein are on the daily menu.
The low-carbohydrate chaffle can therefore also replace a simple low-carb bread and can be topped with anything you like.

Sweet and salty – the chaffle can do both
Savory versions taste particularly good with a spicy cheese such as:
B. Cheddar or Edam, a sweet version is perfect with a milder cheese like mozzarella.
Simply Tasty's favorite combinations include the following chaffles variations:
Pizza chaffles: For the Italian-inspired cheese waffles, 1 teaspoon of tomato paste and 0.5 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs are mixed into the dough.
The finished chaffle is then topped with a few slices of salami, diced tomatoes and, if desired, some grated cheese.
Cinnamon-sugar chaffles: In this sweet variation, which is reminiscent of Mexican churros, 2 tablespoons of ground almonds and 0.5 teaspoons of vanilla sugar are also added to the dough.
Sprinkle the chaffles with cinnamon sugar before serving.
Chaffles with salmon: The basic recipe for the waffle dough is refined with 1 heaped tablespoon of grainy cream cheese.
After baking, the chaffles are garnished with some smoked salmon and avocado slices.
The dough for chaffles comes together quickly and consists of grated cheese and egg.

Once the last chaffle has been eaten, the waffle iron can be cleaned using a practical cleaning waffle and it will be sparkling clean again and ready for the next baking task.
Finally, you also want to try the cheeseburger from the waffle iron and fluffy buttermilk waffles.
