“Anyone who touches young animals can make them orphans,” warns the DJV.
Even when they are alone, young wild animals are not lonely and helpless.
The mother deer is always nearby, but stays at a distance to protect her fawn.
Thanks to the good camouflage, the offspring escapes predators such as foxes.
Stay on the paths and pay attention to signs.
For orientation and your own safety, there are some information boards, signs and barriers in the forest.
Follow the instructions and stay on the designated paths.
Because young animals and nests are difficult to recognize.
By the time you do see them, it is often too late.
Keep your dog on a leash.
There are a few wolf genes in every dog.
When going for a walk, you should have your dog under control at all times - on a leash if necessary.
Be careful when encountering wild boars.
The animals strongly defend their young.
A walk in the forest can quickly become dangerous for curious dogs.
Therefore, keep as much distance as possible from your four-legged friend.
