A frustrated passenger decided to fight back after Delta Air Lines staff threatened to kick her off the plane - just because she wasn't wearing a bra.

The New York Post reported that Lisa Archbold was traveling from Salt Lake City to San Francisco on January 22nd when her plans were suddenly interrupted by her chest.

The New Zealand DJ, who recently participated in the world famous Sundance Film Festival, claimed that after "all the passengers had taken their seats" she was called "loudly" to the front of the plane.

When she got there, according to the Independent's report, she was allegedly pushed into the passenger aisle where she was severely reprimanded by the crew for her t-shirt and long pants, which Delta employees called "revealing" and "offensive clothing."

"After I got a long scolding speech and was treated like a criminal, the flight attendant said she would let me stay on the flight if I put my jacket on," Archbold, whose stage name is Djette Kiwi, told Yahoo!

Australian News.

"Because this flight was only an hour and a half so I wasn't going to give up my seat," she continued.

"So no matter what offense the pretending was caused by my nipples, she was the one who created that offense again. It didn't make sense - it was humiliation," she said.

The scandal of the offending breasts began when Archibold took off her coat at the Salt Lake airport before boarding the flight, as the weather was warmer than expected that day.

"I looked like a girl who didn't mind being dressed like that," said Archbold, who identifies as queer.

She said she didn't hold back and wondered aloud if her queerness was the reason for the unfair treatment she received.

After wearing her jacket throughout the flight to keep quiet, Archbold confronted a crew member added and expressed her disappointment at what she perceived as discrimination against her.

"He answered me with these words: 'It is our official policy at Delta Airlines that women must cover up.' This is a disgusting response," she complained.

After the incident was posted on the communication tool, the airline apologized to Archbold, she said she "refused to admit she did anything wrong. I don't need emails or an apology, I need Delta to care about the safety of their passengers," she said, "The dress code is highly subjective A subjective policy is a tool that is easy to misuse. It is easy to change it according to the whims of the staff. We need to make all passengers feel safe."

Delta does not have an official dress code for passengers, however, according to the airline, it "reserves the right to refuse to serve passengers or remove them from a flight when their behavior, clothing, hygiene or odor creates an unreasonable risk of offense or is a nuisance to other passengers."
