Six ski mountaineers have been missing in the Swiss Alps since yesterday.
Searches by Swiss rescuers are underway along the Zermatt-Arolla route.
The group, the police of the canton of Valais said in a note - had left Zermatt yesterday, at the foot of the Swiss side of the Matterhorn, and was missing in the Tete Blanche area.
According to the website of the newspaper Le Nouvelliste, these are members of the same family from Valais.
The weather conditions, explains the Swiss police, are currently very bad, which makes the rescue intervention very delicate".
