St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport has suspended operations for safety reasons, the Russian air transport agency reported, quoted by Tass.
According to Baza, a Russian media close to the special services, the closure of the airport for arrivals and departures was decided due to a large fire on the outskirts of St. Petersburg.
According to Rbc Ukraine, the fire spread to a hangar near the airport, where an area of one thousand square meters caught fire.
There were two people injured, the cause of the fire was not disclosed.
