Since her hospitalization last January, Kate Middleton has not reappeared publicly.

For example, Charlotte's left hand is misaligned with the sleeve of her vest, while Kate's hands appear to have been added.
“We can clearly see that they are different.
They are not the same color, the size of the fingers and that of the nails are also different,” analyzes Pierre Saal, graphic designer and trainer in artificial intelligence at

So many inconsistencies which prove that the photo is not authentic, especially since the metadata does indeed reveal retouching.

Faced with the controversy, Kate Middleton decided to react publicly in an Instagram story on Monday March 11.
“Like any amateur photographer, I sometimes experiment by editing,” she wrote.
I wanted to apologize for any confusion that the family portrait we shared yesterday may have caused.”
Before concluding: “I hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day.”
