She is masterful in “Heureux Gagnants”, a hilarious and deliciously dark comedy by Maxime Govare and Romain Choay.
In this film which connects four stories where lottery winners see their lives turn into a nightmare, Anouk Grinberg, 60, plays a nurse who is disconcerted when her colleagues find a winning ticket on a recently deceased patient.
For three years, the one who had gradually moved away from the sets after making herself known in 1991 with “Merci la vie”, by Bertrand Blier, has played a series of notable roles, notably in “Deception”, by Arnaud Desplechin, “ the Night of the 12th”, by Dominik Moll or “the Innocent”, by Louis Garrel.
And, while the #MeToo movement shakes French cinema, his voice carries powerfully.
