The disturbance that reached Italy over the weekend will influence many regions until Tuesday, after which, almost surprisingly, the African anticyclone will return to visit us.
This was stated by Antonio Sanò, founder of the website www.iLMeteo.it, specifying that until Tuesday morning it will be above all the central and southern peninsular regions that will be affected by the rainfall.
The weather phenomena could appear in the form of a thunderstorm with hail, while snow will fall widespread on the Apennines on average above 1300-1400 metres.
In the North, however, the weather will progressively improve with the last rains that will wet Liguria and Emilia Romagna, but only on Monday.
This improvement will be increasingly evident on Tuesday also in the Center when the weather will slowly improve with the latest showers, especially in the morning.
It will still remain a little unstable in the South. But the decisive turning point will take place from Wednesday when the African anticyclone from the Iberian Peninsula and even earlier from Morocco, will reach a large part of Italy bringing back a stable, sunny and even mild atmosphere.
With the presence of a more generous sun, temperatures will only increase and so during the day they will easily reach 16-18°C, over 20°C instead in Sicily, in the internal areas of Sardinia and in the Alpine valleys.
A more stable and sunny phase of weather will thus begin which could last until the weekend of 16-17 March, thus interrupting the "curse" of weekends which has seen the latter pass in bad weather across much of Italy.
