The Court of Appeal of the Vatican Tribunal rejected the appeal of the Ultima Generazione activists and confirmed the sentence of 12 June of nine months' imprisonment, with a suspended sentence, and 28,148 euros in compensation for damages, plus court and stationery costs, for the protest that took place in the Vatican Museums, when they glued themselves to the statue of the Laocoön, in August 2022. The two condemned activists are Ester Goffi and Guido Viero.
