She was ready, indeed very ready with her unique energy and charisma to electrify Rome, but instead a sudden health problem forced Loredana Bertè to hospitalize and cancel the concert at the Brancaccio, where her fans were already waiting for her.
The capital is the second stop, after Milan, of the Manifesto Tour which is bringing the 73-year-old artist to Italian theatres.
"We are truly dismayed - say her staff - but due to a sudden abdominal pain which required checks in a facility, Loredana Bertè will not be able to go on stage this evening, she is currently hospitalized for checks. We will give you news shortly".
The indestructible Bertè had already been in Rome since yesterday and - as we read in a note - she "couldn't wait to go on stage in this city which has a wonderful audience".
The singer had already been in pain since the morning and in the afternoon she was visited in a private clinic where the doctor recommended hospitalization.
The show was promptly rescheduled again at the Brancaccio Theater for May 15th.
The tickets purchased will be valid for the new date and those who are unable to do so will be able to request a refund of the ticket no later than 22 March 2024 at the presale where it was purchased.
Loredana Bertè has just returned from a glorious participation in the Sanremo festival, where she not only convinced fans of all ages but she was rewarded with the Critics' recognition named after her sister, Mia Martini.
The song presented, Pazza, is an openly autobiographical piece, a hymn to freedom from prejudices and hypocrisies and is part of the Ribelle album, a collection in 3 CDs, 2 LPs and digitally, an anthology of 57 songs that condense the extraordinary career of the artist, including best of and duets.
But that's not all: the stainless queen of rock took part in A Voice for San Marino on 24 February, finishing in second place.
Among the coaches of The Voice Senior, the talent show hosted by Antonella Clerici on Rai1, she was also a guest of Fabio Fazio on Che tempo che fa, on the Nove, on Sunday 3 March.
The Manifesto Tour Teatrale 2024, of which tonight's Roman stage is part, is a great tribute to pop and rock and a tribute, through visuals, to pop art.
