Romanian justice says it agrees to the extradition of the controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan to the United Kingdom, where they are accused of rape and sexual assault, but only after they have undergone trial in Romania for an affair of alleged sex trafficking human beings.
The two were arrested again today by the Romanian police in execution of the European arrest warrant issued by the British justice system on January 19th.
The police said in a statement that they had executed "two European arrest warrants issued by the judicial authorities of the United Kingdom for the commission of sexual offences, the exploitation of persons on the territory of the United Kingdom".
Tate's spokesperson said in a statement that the couple had been arrested.
The brothers are awaiting trial in Romania on separate charges of human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal group for the sexual exploitation of women
