Lazio is unable to shake itself and the most difficult moment of Maurizio Sarri's management produces, in the presence of Udinese, the third consecutive defeat in the championship.

Which becomes the fourth considering the defeat against Bayern which cost them the exit from the Champions League.

While the Romans in crisis see the top of the table increasingly distant, Udinese is relaunching towards calmer areas thanks to three points deserved for their never giving up attitude.

Precisely the demonstration of courage that coach Cioffi had asked for the day before.

There were many absences from Lazio: from Pellegrini, Marusic and Guendouzi due to disqualification to Patric and Rovella due to injury.

In attack the Friulians rely on Lucca's size and Thauvin's speed.

Udinese immediately tries to raise their voice, but in the fourth minute Lazio is already in credit with luck: Lovric makes a mistake in control when leaving the area, Zaccagni is quick to take the ball away from him and explodes a right-footed shot that hits the post.

The Biancocelesti maneuver with quality and Luis Alberto touches the post to the right of Okoye.

The pressure on the visiting rearguard increases, but the three-man line holds up well.

In the 28th minute, a great opportunity to make it 1-0 for Lazio on the Luis Alberto-Felipe Anderson line: the Brazilian's cross is inviting, but Zaccagni gets there uncoordinated and sends the ball high.

After a long pause, in the final Udinese came forward again and challenged Provedel three times.

First with a volley from outside the area by Lovric;

then with a shot from Kamara, served by Lucca;

finally with a header from Giannetti.

The Lazio goalkeeper is always there, but the Friulians demonstrate that they know how to be dangerous.

The first half ends in which Udinese responded at the post of Lazio by coming out at a distance.

The courage shown in the last 15' of the first half, Udinese brought him back onto the field and in the 2nd minute he passed: Kamara's conclusion was halfway between a shot and a cross, Lucca got his foot in and beat Provedel.

The beginning of the second half is a firework.

In the 4th minute Lazio equalized with an unfortunate deflection by Giannetti on Zaccagni's cross.

Two minutes later the Bianconeri are still ahead.

On yet another descent by Thauvin the ball reaches Zarraga at the edge of the area, conclusion and Provedel still beaten.

Lazio and Udinese now seem like two boxers who no longer pay attention to defending themselves and it's Okoye's turn to say no three times: first to Lazzari's shot and to Isaksen's subsequent attempt.

Then the Nigerian goalkeeper did well to recover his position on Immobile's slow but treacherous shot.

The attacker leaves shortly after with Cataldi, Kamada and Castellanos enter.

Thauvin's incursions are always dangerous and Lucca, a few meters from Provedel, wastes a tip from the Frenchman.

Cioffi also brings fresh forces: Payero and Kamara out for Samardzic and Zemura.

Then it's Bijol's turn, Ferreira comes out.

Lazio plays the Pedro card,

Luis ALberto makes room for him.

He closes forward, but clarity has given way to frenzy.

There is a suspicious contact in the area between Provedel and Lucca, but neither the referee nor the VAR decide to intervene.

In injury time Udinese with 10 men for the second yellow card for Perez.

The last tile for Sarri is the injury of Provedel who has to leave.

After 12 minutes of injury time Udinese can rejoice.
