Two weeks after the regional elections in Sardinia and still waiting for the official proclamation of those elected, the new president in pectore Alessandra Todde is preparing for bilateral meetings with the political forces for the formation of the council.

And the parties have already begun to make themselves heard, underlining their results at the polls and somehow claiming their weight for the boxes to be filled, not only in the executive made up of 12 departments.

The strongest weight in the broad field is that of the Democratic Party, meeting in these hours in the headquarters in Oristano to take stock of the consultations of February 25th.

It is inevitable to highlight the 13.8%, the first party ever, and the consistency of the group in the Regional Council (11 elected).

The position is clear, the Dems are entitled to four departments, that's what filters through.

But not only that, the first party of the coalition should naturally also express the president of the regional council, and as a counterweight the vice presidency of the executive.

And if tests of strength are excluded, there seems to be no room for any renunciation by the Democratic Party, thanks to the commitment and results obtained with the electoral campaign.

For her part, Todde, fresh from the electoral defeat of the broad camp that she had gone to support in Abruzzo, would be ready to claim two boxes, out of the 12 total, of the junta, thanks to the personal result achieved compared to the coalition.

Also sending messages in view of the face-to-face meetings with the governor are two forces from the broad left: Avs and Sinistra futuro.

Maria Laura Orrù, elected for the second time in the Regional Council and mayor of Elmas, recalls that Avs "immediately believed in the Campo largo project and we were part of it, without deviations or second thoughts" and underlines the role of the Sardinian Assembly in next legislature: "we are aware that without a strong and cohesive Regional Council, despite the fact that the Sardinian electoral law provides for the direct election of the president, it is difficult to put the program into practice", underlines the exponent of the acronym which would aim for two councilors in arrived.

Avs reached 4.7% of the preferences and is the third force in the coalition: together with the Progressives and Sinistra futuro, the left-wing progressive soul of the broad camp collects over 10%.

Sinistra futuro, born a year ago on the island by bringing together former supporters of Leu-Article 1 and the Italian Left, reiterates its "commitment to the active promotion of the government project" of Alessandra Todde, among the first to have chosen it, and aims to the next administrative elections to consolidate the base and aim for a national perspective.
