Consumer prices in the United States rose to 3.2% in February, above the expectations of analysts who were betting on +3.1% and the January figure (+3.1%).
On a monthly basis, prices rose by 0.4%, as expected by the market.
The core index, net of energy and food, rose by 3.8%, exceeding the expectations of analysts who were betting on +3.7%.
