Confusing note on socks: “Your pillow will be sad”
The user posted the note on his sports socks on the subreddit “r/de – Wir sind das Neuland,” the self-proclaimed gathering place for all German speakers, “mainly in German, sometimes also in English.
For Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and the two Belgians.”
Pretty quickly an imaginative discussion breaks out about what the laundry sign might mean.

Another says, “Your depressed, blind pillow was attacked by Native Americans.”
A third suggests: "Jump on a pillow to get the socks ready for use."

Despite being very perplexed, Reddit users are having a lot of fun with the strange symbol.
One commented under the post - pretty close to the "real" explanation: "So well padded that it's like wearing three conventional socks on top of each other." Another user writes that it could be a sad axolotl without eyes .
