"On Tuesday 26 March the Justice and Social Affairs commissions of the Senate will begin examining the law on assisted suicide upon my first signature. Finally they will return to Parliament to discuss a necessary and no longer postponable regulation, which guarantees uniformity of treatment and conditions in line with the indications of the Constitutional Court. I hope for a serious and constructive discussion that can lead to a high and shared synthesis, on a subject that requires an inclusive, sensitive and dialogue approach".
This was announced by Senator Alfredo Bazoli, leader of the PD group in the Justice Committee at Palazzo Madama.
