A shocking scene went viral in the last few hours.
In the midst of all the videos published on the networks about the storms that shook the City and Greater Buenos Aires, a very particular one appeared:
a woman dragged over the hood of a car in Gerli.
Little was known about the situation.
Why such an altered reaction from the driver? What was the reason that led him to drag the woman for several meters in the middle of the storm? Were they a couple? What could have motivated the argument? Was there a couple? discussion?
Hundreds of questions and comments invaded the networks after the video went viral.
There were memes, of course.
And there was no shortage of posters, digitized photos and all kinds of speculation about it.
Until Mariel spoke, the victim who shed light on so much speculation.
The scene that was captured by the cell phone of a neighbor who was filming everything from his window summarizes the brutal attack of a motorist towards a young woman.
The event occurred in the middle of the flood, at the junction of Sánchez de Bustamante and República del Lebanon streets, in the Avellaneda district.
“I spoke to him, because
I tried to get him to slow down
because there were waves and the water was entering the neighbors' house.
But this man didn't listen to me.
He smiled and accelerated
,” the victim said in a conversation with
El Trece.

And he added: "I didn't say anything bad to him.
I wanted to help
him too because he was going to get into an area that was very flooded. With a lot of water. He wanted to get into a street where the storm drain was covering everything. He was going to keep the car. I told him to go back to the Gerli bridge."
Mariel regretted the reaction of the motorist, who was accompanied by his partner.
"I honestly don't understand why he reacted like that. I don't know if it was the rain or what, but he didn't listen to me and started off," she described.
The young woman, who was miraculously unharmed, said that she and other neighbors "were trying to help" in the absence of municipal or Civil Defense personnel.
The video is very eloquent.
Mariel is seen in front of the Volkswagen Suran and the driver waits for a few seconds and then attacks.
And they drag her over the hood for several meters.
In the recording you can also see
a group of people running to help the young woman
.
"A couple of people chased him and hit the driver. But we didn't want this. We just wanted to contribute and help," Mariel closed her story with great anguish.
