Lunetta Savino, Barbora Bobulova and Miriam Dalmazio are about to return to Rai 1. They are Marina and her daughters Anna and Nina, the lawyers protagonists of Studio Battaglia, the series awarded for the first season with the Nastro d'Argento Special to the screenwriter Lisa Nur Sultan and the entire female cast, tells the stories of one of the most famous law firms in Milan, and returns with the second season, presented today at the Rai headquarters in viale Mazzini.

The drama, produced by Palomar in collaboration with Tempesta and Rai Fiction, directed by Simone Spada, will start in prime time on Rai 1 on Tuesday 19 March.

We talk about mothers, daughters, wives or partners, the relationship between different generations and the difficult management of feelings. In the various cases of the episode, strictly current issues are addressed: the right to be forgotten, short-term divorce, online haters, adoptions, children who do not they achieve economic independence, late-life separations, toxic relationships and defense of privacy.

There will be three episodes, one less than the first season broadcast in the same period of 2022. In this new season the lawyer sisters Anna and Nina will return to work with their mother Marina in the prestigious Studio Zander, which has now become Zander Battaglia.

The agreement was that Marina would leave the scene as soon as the last cases were closed, but for Zander getting rid of her will be more difficult than expected.

Confirmed in the cast are Giorgio Marchesi (Massimo Munari, leading lawyer of the Zander firm who has an affair with Anna), Marina Occhionero, Carla Signoris, Thomas Trabacchi (Anna's husband of twenty years and father of Daria and Giacomo) and Massimo Ghini.

"In the next season - the screenwriter Lisa Nur Sultan points out - there will be space for the theme of privacy, because I think it will be a predominant theme which, however, is still being dealt with little".

Barbora Bobulova underlines: "Anna will be increasingly confused. On the one hand there is her husband Alberto, with whom she has shared a lot and has a stable marriage. On the other, however, there is Massimo, who is much more than a lover for her. In the end she will have to make a decision. The series is very advanced, it proposes gender equality that doesn't yet exist in life."

The marriage in crisis, adds the actress, "I don't think it's due to the betrayal, but to the consequences that that gesture caused. The series tells us that our society is ruthless, it throws everything in your face and throws mud at you".

Lunetta Savino says: "The thing that struck me about this second season is Marina's tenacity. She doesn't give up, she loves this job. She doesn't want to retire, she has a lot to say and do in this Milan to be experienced."

When asked about the difference between the two types of women played by the actress, who is also becoming increasingly popular on Rai1 in the role of Lolita Lobosco's mother (over 5 million viewers ed.), Savino replies: "It's the beauty of this job. I'm two opposite worlds, but they have two things in common: the bond with their daughters and the desire to relaunch themselves through new love stories, also Lolita's mother".

Carla Signoris says: "In the first season we left Carla Nobili, former Mrs. Parmegiani, after a divorce, now we find her at the helm of a restaurant. The haters hit her and she asks Marina for help."

Miriam Dalmazio is Nina, who "faces - says the actress - a path of suffering and growth. Last year she felt crushed by her family, this year she is forced to rethink her relationship with her parents. She will become attached to a client very sweet, played by the late Gigio Morra, who passed away a few days ago".

But there are four Battaglia women and Viola, Marina Occhionero, the younger sister, a new bride, tells of a different way of living everyday life, the struggle to free herself from the family and the crazy cost of Milanese rents.

"Viola has a path of construction and deconstruction. She is the only one who doesn't want to be a lawyer, in the end she agrees to go to work in Carla's restaurant. She needs to emancipate herself from her family, but she doesn't have the possibilities. Also, face difficulties and pain in love."

Each of the episodes develops a legal case, entrusted to the Zander Battaglia firm, which deals with some of the most current issues in family law.

Furthermore, Anna faces a painful case of legal separation, agreeing to represent the famous chef-influencer "Michela in the family" against her husband Corrado, a manipulative man who controls and manages the successful business they have created.
