Anyone looking for a beautiful scent is spoiled for choice.

Certain perfumes have been particularly popular for years.

But which are actually the best women's perfumes?

Smells and scents have a great influence on our subconscious because they stimulate our memory and we are reminded of people, places or situations.

There are many different scents: sweet, tart, light or heavy, making the right choice is difficult.

You can find out here which perfumes not only smell good, but are also safe for the skin and nose.

Further test reports are available at HEIDELBERG24.

Which women's perfume is the best at Öko-Test?

According to Öko-Test, all perfumes contain various fragrances and these should be as environmentally friendly, skin-friendly and harmless to health as possible.

Unfortunately, these requirements have only been proven in a few women's fragrances.

Öko-Test tested 20 fragrances for women in issue 12/23 Öko-Test.

Also interesting: Body spray in the Öko-Test – suspected cancerous ingredient discovered in this spray.

Of the four certified natural cosmetic perfumes tested, two received the grade “very good”.

Fortunately, one of them only costs 10 euros.

But the classic “Coco” from Chanel also impressed the experts at Öko-Test and received a “very good” grade.

Among the luxury brands, only Yves Saint Laurent was able to score points with his “Libre Eau de Parfum” and received the grade “good”.

Many other expensive women's fragrances had critical fragrances.

The winners of women's fragrances at Öko-Test:

  • Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense: grade “very good”

  • Farfalla Nomad Natural Eau de Parfum: rating “very good”

  • Nature Blossom Perfumes Moon Flower: grade “very good”

These are the 10 most popular women's fragrances in Germany

Germans have been using the same fragrances for years and the list of bestsellers only changes slowly.

This is due to the “power of scents” mentioned above – when we smell something familiar and associate good memories with it, we find it difficult to get along with other scents.

That's why there are many people who have been applying the same scent for many years.

What do I have to consider when buying a good perfume?

Perfume consists mainly of distilled water and alcohol.

Oils or other fragrances create the characteristic smell.

Ideally, the fragrances should be obtained from natural sources such as flowers, leaves, woods and roots.

Unfortunately, there are often synthetic materials in the products because they are cheaper.

However, many synthetic fragrance sources such as musk are suspected of causing allergies or even organ damage.

Perfumes with the following ingredients should better not find their way under the Christmas tree: aldehyde, aluminum, oak moss, coumarin, cinnamal, lilial, lyral, isoeugenol, artificial cashmeran as well as nitrocyclic and polycyclic musk compounds.

By the way: Refills are now available for some perfumes - so you can have the glass bottle refilled instead of buying a new one every time.

This means the original packaging can be reused.

This is sustainable and saves money.
