The FIGC Federal Court of Appeal has suspended the judgment on Manolo Portanova "until the final judgment in criminal proceedings has been reached".
ANSA learns this.
The case of the Reggiana footballer, after an initial sporting decision which had decreed the absence of a specific rule for judging, was returned to the scrutiny of the FIGC court following the ruling of the Board of Guarantee at the CONI which on 19 January had accepted " in part" the appeal of the public prosecutor's office.
On 6 December 2022, Portanova was criminally sentenced in the first instance to six years' imprisonment for gang sexual violence.
