Otfried Preußler is probably one of the most renowned German writers of children's and young adult literature.
In 2023, ten years after his death, Preußler would have been exactly 100 years old.
Thienemann-Esslinger Verlag is not only celebrating this remarkable anniversary with new special editions of its classics, the first complete biography of the literary great will also be published in August - “Otfried Preußler: A Life in Stories” by Preußler expert Tilman Spreckelsen.
