"On March 21st everyone will be at the Circus Maximus with Libera", is the appeal relaunched by Vasco Rossi who adds: "In Italy many are dealing with problems that are elsewhere, you are dealing with the problems that are here, I thank you for this".
The rocker was the protagonist of an Instagram live broadcast hosted by Lucilla Andreucci, Libera's presidential office.
A freewheeling dialogue towards March 21, the Day of Remembrance and Commitment in memory of the innocent victims of the mafia which will see a procession in Rome that will start from Piazza Esquilino and end at Circo Massimo where the names of the 1081 innocent victims of the mafia will be read .
But Vasco also talks about himself and his next tour.
"I'm always ready for my marathons. Making music is what allows me to express what I think. An extraordinary thing for me is first of all the fact that I bring joy to this world full of problems, we can never celebrate enough. I bring joy doing concerts which is my way of life. Making music and communicating with words. Feeling the same emotion together exorcises it. This year there will be concerts at San Siro, let's hope the committee doesn't have too many problems, we will music until 11.30pm. I'm preparing a set list, a social set list, on social issues. Last year they were more intimate songs about man-woman relationships, this year songs that talk about social issues".
Some previews: "There are 24 songs with an extraordinary start. I will do seven concerts at San Siro, it's the first time ever for me, a fantastic stadium. I will do four concerts in Bari at San Nicola. Zero date in Bibione, the city that is my particularly dear, my father had an apartment and I have many friends there".
