The leader of the Dutch ultra-right Geert Wilders, winner of the general elections last November 22, announces that he does not have the support of all the coalition parties to become prime minister.
"I can only become prime minister if all the parties in the coalition support me. This was not the case", writes Wilders on X, reiterating his desire to form "a right-wing government".
Negotiations between Wilders' PVV, the right-wing liberals (VVD), the New Social Movement (NSC) and the Peasants' Movement (BBB) will however continue to form the new executive.
