“Top Chef” (M6), here we go again!
The creation of brigades first, two this year, the first of many new features.
The orange, headed by Hélène Darroze, Dominique Crenn and Stéphanie Le Quellec, and the gray led by Philippe Etchebest, Paul Pairet and Glenn Viel.
In the park of the Château de la Ferrières, the candidates cook five by five for two hours.
There are fifteen of them, that gives three rounds of selection around the egg, the pear then the carrot.
Each time a gray chef and an orange chef take charge of recruitment, the others follow from a studio and taste the dishes without being able to consult with the person who chooses.
Already, candidates stand out this Wednesday evening during the first episode of season 15 of the M6 culinary competition.
This is the case with Pierre, appreciable mustaches and outspokenness.
“I don’t like city dwellers,” says the man who travels the roads with his traveling kitchen.
“Okay, you have a food truck,” says Glenn Viel.
“I'm not American, I have a mobile restaurant,” Pierre continues.
“15 years is worth celebrating!”

“Make noise with my plates”
…But also from Jorick, executive chef of Guillaume Sanchez.
Very shy, cooking allows him “to remain relatively discreet, but to make noise with my plates”.
He is already getting noticed, catching everyone's eye.
Each of the recruiters makes it their first choice.
Despite Glenn Viel's seductive speech – “We're not trying to make a big

” – he chose the Oranges.
Lise also seduces, showing herself to be a fighter by continuing despite a deep cut which will require stitches.
Second joint choice of the two brigades, she joins Pierre in the Grays... Shirley receives the orange cuffs.
All fired up, Valentin immediately grabs the heart.
In Marseille, he cooks everything over a fire.
“But, do you have the fire in you?
» asks Paul Pairet.
“Of course I have the fire in me, it’s the story of my life, I wouldn’t be here otherwise,” replies the boy.
I lost my father as a kid, I had cancer as a kid... That's why I can't see out of my right eye, I wear a prosthesis, I'm used to struggling, to showing courage when there is a need ".
The sequence is short, it is impactful.
Dominique Crenn first.
“Now I understand you,” she whispers to him with intensity.
“I know what he went through, because I experienced it,” confides the three-star star in front of the camera.
Experiencing cancer (…) gives a different image of life.”
He has fire and takes responsibility for everything.
Does his dessert have imperfections?
He learns to love them.
“There’s something pretty about the defect and that’s a bit of me.”
We, for sure, are the one we already love.

Clotaire too, his nonchalance contrasting with his plate on the line.
The first will be chosen by Dominique Crenn, the second by Paul Pairet.
As a second choice, everyone in the studio was leaning towards Marie, but it was Pavel they were fighting over.
Pavel, his hair blowing in the wind, his tattoos and his bad boy style with a tender heart, admitting to having “carrot” on his CV to enter beautiful houses… He joins the ranks of the Oranges.
Pairet finally welcomes Marie, an “absolute fan” of Etchebest.

Last round with Bryan, peroxided hair and red bandana.
Describing himself as "a bit of a poet in addition to being a beauf", he promises with his ideas of a mad chemist, extracting the aromas of carrot and sunflower in a sort of laboratory still... Second to Guy Savoy, Quentin, for his part, impressed.

“You remind me of myself when I entered the competition,” says Stéphanie Le Quellec.
I was shy, discreet, reserved.

A new candidate of (first) choice that the two brigades are vying for.
He joins the Le Quellecs.
“Where’s Bryan?”
Bryan is in the kitchen,” laughed Glenn Viel.
In fact, he is also with the Grays, recruited by Etchebest to the surprise of his associates.
“It’s his choice, he’s on the test, we respect it,” remarks Glenn Viel.
“We are not obliged to respect,” tackles Paul Pairet.
Between the three, the complicity is intact.

Despite a “pig” work plan, according to Etchebest, the youngest of the competition, Arnaud, 20 years old, takes the plunge and joins the orange team… Eleven selected - the twelfth, Anicée, the winner of “ Objectif Top Chef » is coming to the Grays next week.
Four remain on the floor: Inès, Thibault, Paul-Henri and Pierre Pascal.
