Highlights: 'The Snow Society' leads the nominations for the Platinum Awards for Ibero-American cinema. The television categories are dominated by the Argentine series 'Iosi, the repentant spy' and 'División Palermo', with four nominations. The eleventh edition of the awards will be held on April 20 in the Mayan Riviera Maya, in Mexico. ThePlatinum Awards are promoted by Egeda (Audiovisual Producers Rights Management Entity) with FIPCA. This year's Platinum Honor will go to actress Cecilia Roth.

It is the most nominated production, with seven nominations, in the eleventh edition of the Platino Awards that recognize the best of Ibero-American cinema.

While the television categories are dominated by the Argentine series

both with four nominations.

The awards will be presented on April 20 in the Riviera Maya, in Mexico.

In addition to the films by Bayona and Erice, the category of best Ibero-American fiction film is completed by the Argentine

Despite being one of the films with the most nominations,

The Count

has not managed to enter the most important section but is up for the award for best direction, best male performance by Jaime Vadell, best female supporting performance (Antonia Zegers), best script , best art direction and best sound direction.

Platinum Awards are promoted by Egeda (Audiovisual Producers Rights Management Entity) with FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Production) which brings together the industries of the 23 Ibero-American countries.

This year's Platinum Honor will go to actress Cecilia Roth.
