Tamed or domesticated elephants are often used as part of worship traditions in temples in some parts of India, for example in Kerala and Karnataka.

However, even tamed animals sometimes get out of control, and there are several reasons for this.

In the footage uploaded to the social network X, an angry elephant from Kerala is seen destroying vehicles on the side of the road, throwing tuktuks and motorized rickshaws as if they were toys.

It is not clear if this is a recent event or if it happened some time ago.

The video was taken by a man standing on the first floor of a building near the road where the elephant was making names.

This is a domesticated elephant, and the large animal seems to have lost its cool during one of the processions.

In Kerala, elephants are often heavily decorated and displayed on festive occasions.

These decorations, together with the crowd and the heat, often disturb the animals, and they end up attacking the people and objects around them.

In this case, two men can be seen sitting on the elephant's head.

They hold on as tight as they can, as falling from the height of the elephant will injure them.

Also, the chance that the elephant will attack them once they are on the ground is high.

The elephant charges at the men who try to distract and control it.

Several tuktuks are parked by the road and one of them is dragged by the elephant, after which he lifts a tuktuk in the air with his tusks and tries to throw it.

However, the tuktuk's handle got caught between the tusks, which made the elephant even angrier.

He started shaking his head violently to throw the tuktuk.

While trying to do so, the elephant hits a rickshaw next to the tuktuk.

The elephant completely destroys the roof of the rickshaw, lifting both it and the tuktuk in the air before throwing them everywhere.

If you look closely, the elephant was actually aiming to throw the vehicles at the men standing next to him.

There is a chance that the men were actually the elephant riders trying to regain control of it.

The video shows how powerful these creatures can be.

This video is yet another reminder of why you shouldn't get entangled or get too close to wild animals.

These animals are sensitive to light, heat and loud sounds.

A festival procession has all these things.

Processional elephants may walk on asphalt, which may get very hot due to the sun and burn their feet.

Wild animals, especially elephants, coming out of the jungle and destroying farms and other property of people have become a common sight recently.

This happens because of the human invasion of the forests - the living area of the animals.

Maybe it's time to leave them alone once and for all?!
