The 51-year-old radio host attacked the NRJ group in January to obtain the execution of the contract signed between his production companies.

He wants to get back on the microphone.

A hearing will take place this Monday, March 18 before the Paris commercial court at the request of Sébastien Cauet, who attacked NRJ in January to obtain its return to the air, Frédéric Lamoureux, the lawyer for the radio host and his production company Be Aware, confirming information from franceinfo.

This hearing aims to request “execution of the contract” entered into between the radio and Cauet’s production companies.

This could lead to the return to the air of the 51-year-old man, who had withdrawn "until further notice" on November 22, after the opening of a preliminary investigation for "rape of a minor over 15 years” and “rapes” against him.

Five complaints filed against the radio host

At that time, NRJ and Cauet affirmed that the decision had been taken “by mutual agreement”.

Since 2010 (with an interruption in 2017-2018) he has presented the show “C’Cauet”, Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Since then, Sébastien Cauet has no longer appeared on air and four other complaints have been filed against him for sexual assault and rape.

The latest complaint was filed on February 8 by a 45-year-old woman, who described acts of rape that occurred during a business trip to the province by the radio host, at the end of the 1990s, when she was a young adult.

He denies the facts for which he remains presumed innocent and has filed a complaint with the Nanterre public prosecutor's office for "attempted extortion of funds by an organized gang, slanderous denunciation, forgery and uses against unnamed persons".

In the absence of a return to the air, the host wishes that "the breach of the contract" with NRJ be noted and therefore, the payment of compensation as a result, specifies his lawyer Frédéric Lamoureux.
