The Russian oil giant Lukoil has announced the death of its vice-president Vitaly Robertus.
In a statement the company claims that Robertus died "suddenly" at the age of 54.
Sky News reports it.
Robertus had been at Lukoil for more than 30 years and is the latest in a series of senior oil and gas executives to die in sudden circumstances.
In October 2023 Lukoil had declared that Prime Minister Vladimir Nekrasov had died of heart failure at the age of 66.
