Russian President Vladimir Puti has called on citizens to demonstrate "patriotism" and go to the polls.
"Go to the polling stations to express your civic and patriotic position, to vote for your candidate, for the successful future of our Russia that we love", he said on the eve of the presidential elections, reports Interfax.
"It is up to you alone, Russian citizens, to determine the future of the Fatherland. You will not only have to cast your vote, but firmly declare your will and aspirations, your personal role in the further development of Russia...
Because the elections are a step towards the future".
