US Ambassador to Hungary David Pressman said Washington would take action in response to Budapest's "dangerously reckless anti-American message" and "expanding relationship with Russia".
The Guardian reports it.
In a speech in Budapest on Thursday, Pressman took direct aim at Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's foreign policy, while also accusing the Hungarian government of rampant corruption and undermining its institutions.
We cannot ignore the fact that the speaker of the Hungarian national assembly claims that the war in Ukraine is actually "led by the United States".
