At least 8 migrants, including two children, died after the dinghy they were traveling on sank off the coast of Eceabat, a coastal town in Turkey, on the Dardanelles Strait.
This was announced by the local prefecture, as reported by various Turkish media in the area, making it known that 4 migrants were saved but the total number of people who lost their lives due to the shipwreck is not yet clear.
