“We are extremely concerned by reports that Iran is considering transferring ballistic missiles and related technology to Russia, after having supplied the Russian regime with drones that are being used in relentless attacks against civilians in Ukraine. We call on Iran to refrain from doing so , as this would contribute to regional destabilization and represent a substantial material increase in Russia's war support."
Thus the G7 leaders in one note.
Otherwise, "we are ready to respond quickly and in a coordinated manner, including with new and significant measures".
"We reiterate our call on third parties to immediately stop providing material support to Russia's illegal and unjustifiable war of aggression against Ukraine, otherwise they will face serious costs", reads the statement by the G7 leaders who underline that Russia's war in Ukraine represents "a "aggression which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. Should Iran proceed with the supply of ballistic missiles or related technologies to Russia, we stand ready to respond quickly and in a coordinated manner, including with significant new measures against Iran" , concludes the note.
